STRONG by Zumba revolutionizes Zumba workouts as you know them, melding strong upbeat rhythms with powerful, high intensity cardio and strength conditioning moves to fire your fitness potential up a notch ! Think progressive resistance and overload, plyometrics, core and functional training using only your own body weight, all rolled into one dynamic, results-driven class, guarenteed to challenge your entire body, each and every workout !

STRONG by Zumba incorporates the proven, high intensity interval training method known as HIIT...except with a 'Zumba twist.' We call our program 'HIITZ' - High Intensity Tempo Training - Zumba style ! Tempo driven, the strength of the beat will challenge your muscles and cardio system to find power, strength, speed, stamina and mobility. Optimize your workout and make every minute count as you push your limits. Discover the athlete within you ; feel the force, the energy and get fit !


Who is the STRONG NATION by Zumba participant ?

This class is designred for participants looking to increase levels of training, maximize workout benefits and see real results from their efforts. While simple dance steps are part of the program, STRONG by Zumba is a mre 'athletic, conditioning style workout', well suited for those who love to move but are not comfortable with a full-out dance class.

STRONG by Zumba is an interval or intermittant intensity style program. This means that high intensity moves (such as high knees, burpees, jumping jacks, etc.) are interchanged with lower intensity moves (like lunnges, jump rope, kickboxing) throughout the entire workout, making a STRONG by Zumba class doable, even for those starting out less fit. At the same time, the STRONG by Zumba program can provide an incredibly high energy, maximum demand workout for more fit individuals, challenging them enough to take them to new personal heights of fitness achievement. One benefit of the class design is that, as an instructor, you can adapt the workout to all fitness levels by modifying the exercise selection, so nearly everyone can take the class, be successful and progress.

                                  Children :    $7 for children under 12 years of age



Make sure you always bring a yoga mat, towel and water and wear appropriate footwear and workout gear.
